BIOGRAPHY
Steve Kisner is the Director of Instruction and 1st Assistant at Devils Ridge Golf Club in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Devils Ridge Golf Club is a premier 480+ member private Club Corp. facility just 20 miles south of Raleigh, North Carolina. Player Development Programs for members was increased threefold with total success. Steve is a member of the PGA President’s Council on Growing the Game for the past 3 years.
Steve was the lead PGA Teaching Professional at Fox Hills Learning Center located in Plymouth, Michigan. The Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center has 63 holes of golf and a world class teaching facility. Junior player development programs were refined for the 700 junior members. Mr. Kisner was inspirational in developing instructional golf leagues at the Fox Hills facilityand expanding the junior programs to include Junior Skills Challenge Camps and Tournament Preparation Camps.
Steve previously worked at Crystal Mountain Golf Schools, one of America’s “Top 25 Golf Schools” rated by Golf Magazine. Mr. Kisner developed short game schools and a one day foursome golf school to enhance the business world demand. Steve has instructed thousands of individuals to learn the game of golf. He is a Class A Member of the PGA of America and a certified instructor.
Mr. Kisner was the past Manager of the Virtually Perfect Golf Learning Center in Novi, Mi. The Virtually Perfect Learning System was developed in Canada and Steve assisted in building the first U.S. franchise. Top instructor Hank Haney and Steve worked together to improve the VPG Learning System.
Steve has worked with Rex Caldwell, Past PGA Tour Player and Champions Tour Player, National Long Drive Finalists Steve Gill, and Larry Nagy, current PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour Player Chad Collins. Locally, Steve has worked with a multitude of Top 50 Junior players, and local amateur players.
Steve was the Head Golf Professional at Maples Country Club (Semi-private) and an Assistant Golf Professional at River Bank Golf Course (Public). Mr. Kisner was also an Assistant Golf Professional at Boulder Lakes Golf Club (Private) and was responsible for all golf instructional programs and successful junior programs.
